Stay at the Esplanade Hotel, Fremantle and pay less if you are a WAVE 2024 Delegate or Exhibitor - Book direct with OWA.

The accommodation options at the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle are spacious and elegant, most with private balconies and some overlooking the Esplanade and Park or the resort-style pool.  

There is so much to see and do in and around Fremantle, make a long weekend of your trip to WAVE 2024, earn your CPD hours and see the sights!


BOOK DIRECT WITH OWA - NEW FOR 2024

The 2024 discounted accommodation offer is $230 per night rate for the weekend of WAVE 2024 – discounted dates start from 13th March to the 17th  March & includes breakfast for 1.  Breakfast for 2 is available for an additional cost. Parking is not included.

Complete the online Expression Of Interest Form HERE to select your preferred dates / number of nights stay & Optometry WA will contact you to confirm availability and final price.

If you wish to book with OWA - please do not delay and complete the Expression Of Interest Form.  Reservations with OWA include free cancellation until 31/01/2024.   

You can also book direct with Rydges or any accommodation booking websites of your choice but you may not find the same discounted rate as the WAVE OWA rate of $230 per night, inclusive of GST & Breakfast.

GETTING THERE

Perfectly located in the historic city of Fremantle, the Esplanade Hotel Fremantle – by Rydges offers easy connections to Perth CBD and Perth Airport.

Experience numerous local attractions from your Fremantle hotel base, including Rottnest Island, Fremantle Heritage Trail and Markets, and The Round House.

DRIVING THERE: From Perth Airport
  • Get on Leach Hwy/State Route 7 from Airport Dr - 5 min (3.6 km)
  • Continue to Fremantle 27 min (23.0 km)
  • Continue on High St. Take Parry St to Essex St 4 min (1.7 km)
PARKING: Parking is your own responsibility.

TRAINS & BUSES
Fremantle Train Station and Bus Port provide direct walking access to Fishing Boat Harbour, museums and galleries, the shopping district, cinemas, the Cappuccino strip and restaurants.

Trains to and from Perth operate from the Fremantle Train Station by Transperth, with buses connecting to meet with trains. There are bus stops in and around the city making it easy to get around. Visit the Transperth website for schedules and service interruptions.

FREE CAT BUS
The BLUE CAT is now the only operating CAT route in Fremantle, it runs from Fremantle Station to South Beach in a loop, with busses every 20 minutes.  

  • Mondays to Thursdays: 7.30am and 6.15pm
  • Fridays: 7.30am to 7.45pm
  • Saturdays and Sundays: 10am to 6.15pm.

There are many places of interest in Fremantle, including the Fremantle Arts Centre, Fremantle Leisure Centre, the Maritime Museum, E-Shed Markets, the Cappuccino strip and the Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour.
