Greg is a consultant endocrinologist at Fiona Stanley Hospital and Diabetes WA, with private practice at 4 Antony Street in Palmyra. Greg also serves as physician representative on Diabetes Australia's advisory committee for the National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS). 

After graduation from UWA, Greg completed specialist internal medicine training in WA and later undertook doctoral research in cardiovascular endocrinology at the Hudson Institute of Medical Research in Melbourne. He is a senior lecturer and final year examination coordinator at Curtin Medical School.
