Talk Description
Jack Phu presents on Mimickers of Glaucoma (Interactive)
Duration: 60 minutes
Synopsis: An enduring problem with glaucoma is that 50% of all cases remain undiagnosed. However, another challenge is whether or not the diagnosis of glaucoma is correct: there are many masqueraders that require additional investigations for other systemic diseases, some which may be life-threatening.
In this presentation, delegates will be engaged in high-level interactive discussions of cases studies of patients with optic nerve disease that may or may not be glaucoma. Following this course, delegates will be able to apply a systematic approach to differential diagnosis.
