Synopsis: This presentation will provide a comprehensive approach to distinguishing glaucoma from conditions that mimic its presentation, known as glaucoma masqueraders. Attendees will learn clinical tips and pearls for recognizing subtle differences, key differentiators in patient history and examination, and a systematic method for evaluating cases. By working through illustrative case studies, clinicians will be better equipped to identify true glaucoma, avoid misdiagnosis, and optimize patient outcomes.

  1. Learn how to distinguish between primary glaucoma and common glaucoma masqueraders by recognizing key signs, symptoms, and patterns.
