Talk Description
Jack Phu presents on Interpreting Visual Field Loss - Pitfalls & Pearls
Duration: 30 minutes
Synopsis: Perimetry is an integral part of the glaucoma assessment. Modern perimetry paradigms have become streamlined and efficient, and are often deferred to technical staff to be performed in practice. However, knowledge of the scientific principles of clinical perimetry remains essential for clinicians to critically appraise the result and reconcile it with the patient’s health status. This presentation will provide a practical guide on performing and interpreting visual field tests in modern clinical practice, and will briefly review emerging technologies in functional testing for glaucoma.
