Synopsis: As myopia control increases in popularity with the optical industry, practitioners, patients and their parents; optometrists must stay up to date with the latest developments and evidence base. Crucially, optometrists need to understand how to measure and monitor myopia control “success” and identify when a patient may benefit from individual or combination myopia control therapies. Dr Emily Pieterse from the Queensland University of Technology Myopia Control Clinic will provide an overview of how to incorporate myopia control into your practice and expand the range of treatments available to your patients.
